AIS is a plug-and-play system for aftermarket or original installation in trucks, buses and passenger cars. Thanks to dynamic self-calibration, it calibrates the camera automatically and is ready to use within minutes — no specialist setup required. The AIS app guides camera placement during installation.
No. AIS runs entirely in the vehicle and works without connectivity, so it performs even in remote areas. Optional wireless connectivity lets it integrate with fleet-management systems, and AIS 12 can add cloud data management.
It doesn’t have to. AIS is camera-based with the option never to record or store driver footage, and all data is processed securely within the vehicle — so you get driver support without privacy trade-offs.
AIS 6 is a compact 1-megapixel, 6 cm camera suited to original installation. AIS 12 is a 2-megapixel, 12 cm camera for heavier commercial vehicles, with an optional radio card for remote communication and cloud data management. Both run the same driver-support software.
