Integrate our algorithms to give your product a real-time read on the person using it.

Attention & intent
Know where a user is looking, and infer what they mean to do.

Gaze control
Let people operate a device with their eyes, hands-free.

Expression & communication
Turn eye movement into speech and interaction.

State & intent
Read alertness and engagement so the product can adapt.
Smart Eye was founded on the idea that technology should bridge the gap between people and machines. Integrating our technology helps the products you build understand what a user wants and needs — often from a single glance.
Assistive Technology & AAC
Through eye, face, and head tracking that responds to natural behavior, we help assistive-technology providers remove barriers to expression and movement. Embedded in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices, our software lets people control a device or produce speech using only their eyes.

Operate a device hands-free, through eye movement alone.
Build messages and speak through eye-controlled interfaces.
Accurate tracking for users with complex and limited mobility.
Human Behavior Platforms
Our technology also powers iMotions, Smart Eye’s multimodal platform for human behavior research. iMotions synchronizes eye tracking with facial expression, EEG, ECG, EMG, galvanic skin response and heart rate — bringing data from many sources into one view, so researchers and commercial teams can study how people think, feel and respond.

Capture, visualize, and analyze multimodal data together.
Synchronize eye tracking with biometric and behavioral signals.
Used across academic and applied fields worldwide.
Our technology is already embedded in products people rely on — from assistive communication aids to research platforms.

“The reliability, accuracy, and flexibility of Smart Eye’s eye-tracking technology have helped us to continuously push the boundaries of what is possible and to make our products more accessible and effective than ever before.”
– Neil Fitzgerald
Product Manager, Smartbox

“Working with the Smart Eye team was truly enjoyable. Their expertise in eye tracking technology was clear, and their dedication to the success of our research was evident at every step. The Smart Eye team not only provided us with a remarkable product but also took the time to ensure our team understood the intricacies, empowering us to maximize the potential of their technology.”
– Philip Brandt
Senior Research Scientist, UND RIAS

"Adding human driver data like pupil dilation, blink, and gaze enables our customers to further advance the understanding of how humans behave and thereby help the development towards a better real-world-like simulation."
– Diego Minen
CTO, VI-grade

Integration FAQ
The SDK is the standardized entry point for building Smart Eye’s eye, face and head tracking into your own product. It gives development teams what they need to evaluate the technology, integrate it, and deploy it — as an embedded, on-device capability or within a larger system. It’s designed to run across different cameras and hardware, so you can build on it without committing to a single sensor or platform.
Yes. Our algorithms let a device interpret where a user is looking and turn that into input — so people can operate a product hands-free or, in assistive technology, produce speech and control a device using only their eyes. This is the basis of Lumin-i, the AAC communication aid we developed with Smartbox, and the same capability can be built into other products that need to respond to a user’s attention or intent.
Our software is built to adapt to your product rather than the other way around, and to deliver reliable data across different cameras, hardware and conditions. That flexibility is what lets the same core technology sit inside an assistive device, a research platform or a consumer product. Our team helps tune the integration and confirm performance for your specific setup.
We work with you from first evaluation through to deployment — helping select the right configuration, guiding the integration, and providing long-term technical support so it keeps performing over the life of the product. The core technology is ready to deploy, and custom integrations and adaptations are scoped and priced to your needs.
